Responsibilities
- Perform chair-side assisting duties, including 4-handed dentistry, during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatory rooms according to strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and digital images accurately.
- Manage patient intake, charting, and record-keeping using our advanced dental software.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
- Assist the dentist with diagnostic procedures and treatment planning.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area and reception area.
Qualifications
- Current California RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license.
- Valid X-ray certification (RPH or equivalent).
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and sterilization procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
