Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop appropriate care plans
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and communication
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment protocols
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Mentor junior nursing staff and contribute to departmental training
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Washington state
- Minimum 3 years emergency department or triage experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with exceptional experience considered)
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EHR systems
