Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties including instrument sterilization and infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage patient scheduling, digital records, and inventory of dental supplies
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and digital charting systems
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA credential from Texas State Board
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and OSHA compliance knowledge
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures with meticulous attention to detail
