Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix software
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling and billing
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and manage dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB/CDA)
- Nebraska radiology permit
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and sterilization
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of dental billing systems
- CPR/BLS certification
