Your Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can seamlessly assist our dentists and ensure a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Chair-Side Assisting: Support the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries with precision and efficiency.
- Patient Care: Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care to ensure long-term health.
- Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all necessary materials are stocked and ready.
- Diagnostics: Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays (Radiographs) while strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Administrative: Manage patient records, verify insurance coverage, and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Infection Control: Maintain a sterile environment by following strict CDC and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- Licensure: Current DANB certification or state RDA license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and knowledge of modern sterilization techniques.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
