Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage patient records accurately and maintain the reception area.
- Perform chair-side assisting duties with precision and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the front desk to ensure smooth patient flow.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
- Current Arizona State Dental Assistant License.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but we offer training for motivated candidates.
