Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient examinations.
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) according to safety protocols.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and ensure strict HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain high standards of sterilization and infection control.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding.
Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent DANB certification is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment.
