Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols.
- Perform intraoral radiography (X-rays) and take accurate dental impressions for crowns and models.
- Manage patient intake, update electronic health records (EHR), and ensure patient comfort.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene techniques.
- Coordinate with front office staff to ensure a seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California RDA License.
- Current X-ray certification (RPH or equivalent) required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates with strong externships are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and sterilization procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with dental software.
