Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Take and develop digital dental X-rays and intraoral photos.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and insurance information.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Coordinate with the front desk to ensure smooth patient flow.
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or state licensure (required).
- Previous experience in a dental office setting (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
