What You'll Do:

As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. You will work closely with our dentists and hygienists to create a comfortable and efficient dental experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Chair-Side Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and preparation of instruments.
  • Patient Care: Greet patients, review medical histories, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
  • Diagnostics: Take and develop digital X-rays (panoramic, periapical, and bitewing) as directed by the dentist.
  • Infection Control: Strictly adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Office Management: Manage appointment schedules, maintain accurate patient records, and process insurance claims accurately.
  • Prophy & Fluoride: Perform professional cleanings, polishing, and fluoride treatments as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current Dental Assistant license in North Carolina (NDA) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and X-ray certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting.
