Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a sterile environment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and digital images as directed.
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk reception duties when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts electronically.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (RDA) is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
