Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentist: Provide chair-side assistance during examinations and procedures, utilizing 4-handed dentistry techniques.
- Patient Care: Greet patients warmly, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
- Preparation & Sterilization: Prepare treatment rooms, arrange instruments, and maintain strict sterilization protocols.
- Diagnostic Imaging: Take and process dental X-rays and impressions as directed by the dentist.
- Administrative Support: Manage patient records, update charts, and handle insurance billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CDA or RDA certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in a dental office preferred.
- Licensure: Current Arizona dental assisting license.
- Skills: Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
