Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging with precision
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinical efficiency
- Assist in treatment documentation using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Prepare dental materials and instruments for various procedures
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general or cosmetic dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental imaging systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
