Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienists during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and handle insurance paperwork accurately.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Perform coronal polishing and other chairside assisting duties.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program.
- Current state certification (RDA) or equivalent license.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- CPR and BLS certification required.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
