Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict safety protocols.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with precision and care.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and digital images.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Coordinate with the front office to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Dental Assistant license or RDA certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a dental setting is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment when necessary.
- Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records (EHR).
