Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict infection control protocols.
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries with precision and efficiency.
- Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage patient records accurately, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (RDA) license required in the state of California.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry or specialty practice setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and sterilization standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR certification and BLS certification (Basic Life Support) are required.
