Responsibilities
- Assist Dentists: Provide chairside assistance during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort, take vitals, and educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Imaging: Perform and process dental X-rays (Panoramic, Periapical, etc.) accurately.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterilization protocols and cross-infection control measures.
- Inventory Management: Monitor supply levels and order necessary dental materials and equipment.
- Front Desk Support: Manage patient check-ins, confirm appointments, and handle basic billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Dental Assistant license (RDA) or equivalent certification in Nevada.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in dental software and chairside assisting techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CPR: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Reliability: Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
