Responsibilities
- Assist the lead dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental x-rays (radiographs) and 3D scans.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and update medical histories.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and materials.
Qualifications
- Current WI State Dental Assistant License (or eligible for reciprocity).
- Dental Radiography certification (RDHA) is required.
- CPR and BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a general dentistry practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, OpenDental) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
