Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography (CBCT/Panoramic) and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement OSHA/CDC sterilization protocols for instrument processing
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain accurate treatment records using Dentrix/Epic
- Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-op care and oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Dental Assistant Radiology (DAR) certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry practice
- Proficiency in digital imaging software (Sirona/Planmeca)
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
