Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction control
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Take and develop dental X-rays under supervision
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain accurate patient records
- Support front desk operations when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary - we provide full training!
- Certification from an accredited Dental Assisting program preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
