Responsibilities
- Support dentists during procedures, including instrument handling and patient comfort
- Perform sterilization and disinfection protocols for instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper safety protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for dental procedures
- Provide post-procedure instructions and patient education
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior dental experience necessary – training provided
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Basic computer proficiency for digital systems
- CPR certification (will be provided during training)
- Valid NJ state driver's license preferred
