Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with insurance companies for billing support
Qualifications
- No prior dental experience required - we train everyone!
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Basic computer literacy with willingness to learn dental software
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Arizona Dental Assisting Board registration (training provided)
- Background check and drug screen required
