Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction control
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper patient positioning and safety measures
- Manage patient intake, chart updates, and digital record management
- Provide chairside assistance and post-operative care instructions
- Order inventory and maintain clinical supply organization
- Support front desk duties including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary – we train you!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Basic computer proficiency for digital charting systems
- Valid Texas dental radiology certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
