Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using precise instrument handling
- Perform chairside support including suction, retraction, and material preparation
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays following strict protocols
- Manage patient records and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation systems
- Execute sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal infection control standards
- Provide compassionate patient education on oral hygiene techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary - we train! (Must be open to learning)
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Excellent manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Basic computer proficiency for digital record management
- Ability to maintain calm demeanor in fast-paced clinical settings
- Valid Arizona state ID and reliable transportation
