Responsibilities
- Assist the lead dentist and hygienist during examinations, cleanings, and treatment procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a sterile environment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Panoramic and Periapical) and dental impressions.
- Greet patients warmly, update medical histories, and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records using dental software.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist with chairside assisting duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior dental experience required. We are looking for eager learners ready to be trained.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and pay close attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and assist with patient positioning.
- CPR certification is a plus (training provided).
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills are preferred.
