Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentist: Provide chairside assistance during examinations, cleanings, and procedures.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, prepare them for treatment, and explain post-operative instructions clearly.
- Instrument Preparation: Properly sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
- Dental Records: Maintain accurate patient records and update charts with treatment information.
- X-Rays: Take and develop dental X-rays (training provided).
- Inventory Management: Monitor supply levels and restock rooms as needed.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or GED is preferred; we value attitude and willingness to learn over experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow precise instructions and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and assist patients of various sizes.
- Reliability: Punctual and dedicated work ethic with a commitment to patient care.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable navigating electronic health records (training provided).
