Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure strict hygiene standards.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and charting treatment notes.
- Ensure dental operatory rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Greet patients warmly and assist with chair-side comfort and post-op instructions.
- Maintain infection control protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Strong desire to learn and work in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift patients or equipment as needed.
