Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Implement OSHA/CDC infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain optimal operatory efficiency
- Provide chairside assistance with dental instruments and materials
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain logistics
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA credential required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dexis practice management software
- DEXIS/Patterson imaging system certification
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
