Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays with proper radiation safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting using Dentrix/EagleSoft
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education on oral hygiene
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Support front desk operations including billing verification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication skills and compassion for patients
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Valid CPR certification (will be provided if needed)
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
- Commitment to complete the full paid training program
