Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient comfort
- Perform chairside duties: suctioning, retraction, and material mixing
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper techniques
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain dental equipment
- Update patient records and manage digital charting systems
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to complete state certification training
- Basic computer proficiency (EHR systems a plus)
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
