Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative work, extractions, and orthodontics
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures
- Manage patient records, scheduling, and inventory in our digital system
- Implement strict infection control and sterilization procedures
- Provide chairside assistance with suctioning and instrument transfer
- Deliver post-procedure instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn dental software
