Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, patient positioning, and suction management
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage patient records and scheduling through our cloud-based practice management system
- Sterilize equipment and maintain infection control protocols per OSHA standards
- Handle remote administrative tasks including insurance verification and digital chart updates
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Coordinate with dental lab technicians for prosthesis fabrication
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (CODA or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Ability to work 3 days in-office and 2 days remotely
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
