Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs accurately.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure infection control standards.
- Greet patients warmly and manage the reception area efficiently.
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records and charts.
- Explain post-operative care and dental hygiene instructions to patients.
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and sterilization protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
