Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure strict sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Manage patient scheduling and clinical inventory with precision
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for optimal efficiency
- Deliver compassionate patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate with insurance providers and billing systems
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license in California
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
