Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments in high-volume emergency settings using ESI protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to prioritize critical cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with 99.5% documentation accuracy
- Train and mentor junior triage staff on best practices
- Implement quality improvement initiatives for patient flow efficiency
- Participate in hospital-wide emergency preparedness drills
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio with 5+ years ED experience
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or TNCC certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Proven ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Experience with ESI level 5 triage protocols
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
