Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures, including chairside assistance and instrument sterilization
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies to maintain optimal clinic operations
- Assist with patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Perform administrative tasks including appointment scheduling and record management
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with dentists and hygienists to ensure seamless clinical workflows
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
