Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and dental operatory for procedures, including sterilization and instrument setup
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, including four-handed dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with digital imaging technology
- Manage patient records using our advanced dental software system
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
- Coordinate inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and patient demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Spanish fluency preferred (not required)
