Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring equipment is sterilized and ready.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed.
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments.
- Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Manage patient records and scheduling accurately.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Michigan.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
