Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform sterilization and instrument preparation using OSHA-compliant protocols
- Capture diagnostic dental X-rays with precision and patient comfort
- Manage patient flow and coordinate chairside assistance seamlessly
- Maintain immaculate operatory and supply inventory systems
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Utilize Eaglesoft practice management software efficiently
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification or graduate from CODA-accredited program
- Michigan Dental Assistant license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography (Dexis, Sirona) and infection control
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or comparable dental software
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays
