Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
- Handle patient records using digital dental software
- Provide chairside assistance during complex procedures
- Assist in scheduling and patient education
- Maintain clean, organized treatment areas
Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma in Dental Assisting (required)
- Current Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer license
- 2+ years clinical experience in a dental office
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
