Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorations, extractions, and endodontics
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Implement sterilization protocols for all equipment and instruments
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
Qualifications
- Dental assisting certificate or equivalent experience required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with digital charting systems preferred
