Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and aftercare
- Process insurance claims and maintain digital records
- Assist in infection control and OSHA compliance
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid state radiology permit
- Commitment to patient confidentiality
