Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and process digital radiographs
- Manage patient records and scheduling systems
- Order inventory and ensure stockroom organization
- Deliver post-procedure care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (or eligible to obtain within 30 days)
- X-ray certification valid in Nevada
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental settings
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
- Current CPR certification
