Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and perform preliminary exams
- Manage patient records using digital charting systems
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling and billing
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and restock supplies
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DAEFB or DANB)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a dental setting
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Pennsylvania state radiology license required
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
