Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and surgeries
- Perform dental radiographs (X-rays) and sterilize equipment
- Manage patient records and digital charting
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures
- Administer anesthesia and post-op care instructions
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance
- Maintain OSHA compliance and infection control protocols
- Handle insurance billing and front desk tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Valid Missouri dental radiography permit
