Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and treatments
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for optimal efficiency
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control
- Handle patient scheduling and documentation
- Provide chairside assistance during examinations
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Proficient in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
