Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with chair-side support.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiography) as required by the dentist.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care instructions.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order necessary materials.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program preferred.
- Current DANB certification or Radiography license in Louisiana.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
