Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction management, and oral evacuation
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs with precision and safety
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance in treatment areas
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for optimal clinical workflow
- Deliver patient education on post-procedure care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and inventory management
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent) required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- Exceptional communication skills for patient rapport building
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Commitment to continuing education in dental technologies
- Valid Florida dental radiography license preferred
