Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections in clinical settings
- Process and transport specimens to laboratories with strict adherence to protocols
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote patient assessment and procedure guidance
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with HIPAA compliance
- Calibrate and troubleshoot phlebotomy equipment
- Train patients on at-home collection procedures for remote testing
- Collaborate with lab teams to ensure timely sample processing
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency with telehealth software and remote monitoring tools
- Strong understanding of OSHA and CLIA regulations
- Excellent communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to work independently during remote rotations
- Valid Oregon Phlebotomy Technician license
- CPR certification required
