Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed.
- Perform vital signs and patient screening.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care instructions.
- Manage front desk administrative duties including scheduling and insurance verification.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA) or graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
- Arizona State Dental Assistant License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
